Registration of Contractors

Procedure for Registration of Contractors in FDC 

The following categories of contractors are enlisted in FDC:-

The authority competent to register all the above categories of contractors is Manager Forest Operations who is empowered to refuse registration or cancel it during its currency for good and valid reasons. One appeal only shall be allowed against his decision, to the Managing Director of the corporation.

While considering applications for registration, the Manager Forest Operations evaluate it on the following criteria:-

• Previous experience in forest working as testified by MFO in a corporation.
• Value of business handled during the past one year as testified by a competent authority in a Government Department or a corporation with whom the party conducted the business.
• Value of landed and other immovable or movable property as certified by the collector concerned or the Mayor/Chairman of the respective Municipal Corporation/Committee.
